Importing Leads / Splitting Your Lead File into files of 2500 leads
Section #1 - Splitting Your Lead File
We provide a free program to assist you in splitting your files. If you already have a way to split your files skip to section #2
1. Download the List Manager Software and Save Download Here
2. Open List Manager and click run(Note: The software is virus and malicious code free)
Helpful Tip: You should create a shortcut on your desktop for the ListManager.exe file so you can access easily nest time you need it.
3. Click File Open
4. Find your original lead file on your hard drive and click open. 5. Leads will appear on screen 6. Make a note of the field numbers that each of the following that is in your CSV file. (Map your CSV File) Example: 7. Click File ...Click Split Leads into several files 8. Change emails per file to 2500
Would translate to
You will need this info when you load your leads.
Choose a file prefix to identify your newly split files ( In the example we are creating 5 files, the names would be leads1, leads2, leads3.apr, etc.)
Choose the folder you want the files stored
Click OK
The Leads are now stored on your hard drive in the folder you specified, now it's time to load your leads into your autoresponder.
Section #2 - Loading your Leads
1. Log into your Big Hit Mailer account
2. Under the subscriber menu choose..import by csv
3. Click Browse to find your lead file on your hard drive and click open
4. Enter the field number that each of the following that is in your CSV file. (Map your CSV File) Example: 5. Set the start on message number and click import 6. The file loading screen will appear 7. When upload is complete..The click here to view results and continue links will appear and you will be able to view the leads you just imported.
